Directions for Proper Disposal of Solid Waste

Find enclosed herewith a copy of inspection report of Rashid Minhas High School and College, Chak No. 39/12-L, G.T Road Tehsil Chichawatni District Sahiwal bearing No. 1478/DOE/EPA/SWL. Dated 21-05-20015 by District Officer Environment Sahiwal along with enclosures.

In this connection, it is directed to comply with the directions quoted by DOE in the letter which are as under.
Arrange solid waste collection containers that may be placed at appropriate location inside/outside the school.
After collection of waste in containers, ensure its proper final disposal. As most
of the waste is organic in nature, you may use this waste for compost that will be used as fertilizer for plants of your school. Other alternative is to dispose off this waste through landfill.

Observe the activities of sanitary staff so that open burring practices and duping along the road side shall not be observed in future.
Moreover, it is also directed to keep vigilant eye on the school environment and ensure their cleanness in all manners and no such complaint should be received in this regard from any corner in future.
It is further added that a comprehensive report in this context should be submitted to this office within 3-day positively for submission to the high-ups.
