Compulsory teaching of the Holy Quran to Muslim students is an integral part of Education Policy. It has been noted with concern that the policy is not being implemented effectively in its true spirit. The teaching of the Holy Quran depends on the way how it is assessed in the Annual and Term Examinations. The issue of compulsory teaching of The Holy Quran has been raised in Provincial Assembly time and again and the Provincial Government also constituted a Special Committees on the subject.
